Call for Artist Instructors to Lead AGB Workshops
A Call for Artists interested in presenting a workshop at the Art Gallery of Bancroft can be found by clicking on this link.
The Art Gallery of Bancroft has a mandate to reach out to the public and provide learning opportunities in the visual arts. One avenue for providing the learning experience is through the offering of open workshops to both members of the AGB and the public. Although some of our workshops are offered by the artists having a featured monthly exhibition at the Gallery, there are many opportunities for other artists to lead workshops. Workshops in many different types of media have been delivered to students at the AGB, including painting on silk with French dyes, soapstone carving and wave-knitting, as well as painting with acrylics, oils and watercolours.

Typically, one-day workshops are held at the Gallery on Sundays, when the Gallery is closed, between 10 am and 4 pm. Workshop students pay a fee of $65.00, of which $40.00 is paid to the artist and $25.00 goes to the AGB.
